My camellia is starting to lean over. Would appreciate any suggestions what to do with it to straighten it up? I'm nervous of cutting it back as it was a gift from my Dad and I don't want to end up ruining it.

Might be wrong here but I'm sure it's doing that because it's growing towards the light(away from house) If u do anything it'll just keep growing outwards

Thank you, my dad who died almost 12 years bought it for us. So I really don't want to risk wrecking it.

I'd be concerned with roots being so close to the house foundations I'd be tempted to dig it up and move it in the fall

What about cutting some back, it seems to be heavier on one side, so it's even.

If you can get a stake in. it looks close to the house put a hook in to the house wall and the a thin rope round the tree
