I have been running Google Ads for myself for sometime, but now I am running for other businesses. What is the best way to go about setting up mult accounts. Should I just create a new account for each client i take on?

If you have to ask that question you shouldn't be running other businesses ads.

Thanks bro, but we are doing just fine.

@viehmann43084 the question you just asked suggests otherwise ‍♂️

The ROAS is all that matters, but thanks anyway. How to run ads on the platform and how to scale running mult businesses are 2 separate issues.

@viehmann43084 I'm not even going to get into this man. You do you. Please learn the basics before you start playing with other people's money though. Best of luck

Take care and thanks for bringing value here. My clients are getting a return on their money. Its ok to be green at something. How to best setup running multiple accounts is a question i would assume ppl have from time to time. Take care

@barimah7038 nope, just 20 years in the industry working for agencies and putting in my time before becoming an agency owner. If you need to ask a question that's based in the absolute fundemental's of running Google ads as a business you shouldn't be doing it for other businesses and charging them. It's that simple

@oratorical after 20 years you would think you would understand that the only thing that actually matters at the end of the day is if your clients are getting a return on their ad spend. I know how to run ads on the platform and my success doing so is how ppl in my industry found me. I just had never spent time running them for anyone else. I came here to ask the question as I thought thats what this group was for.

@oratorical you are a prick, the fact it took you 20 years to open your agency says more about you than @viehmann43084 asking a simple question. Help someone out, don't have a stab.

@barimah7038 not insulting anyone. Put it this way, if you were plumber and you knew a guy with no qualifications and no idea how to actually do plumbing was going to work on a friend's house would you just let them do it? Yeah this is the same thing.

@oratorical what you just said shows you obviously havent been reading what i posted. You just want to comment. i can run ads, do run ads, and do so well. Just havent done so for others until now. Not asking how to run ads but how to best setup a process for serving multiple ppl

Simple stuff bro

@viehmann43084 look. I'm out. You do you. Good luck to you and your clients
by (260 points)
@barimah7038 thanks . Didnt think it was that crazy of a question to ask, but you never know with some ppl out there
by (580 points)
@barimah7038 ‍♂️ look man. If a person doesn't know that in one account you cannot have the same key phrase more than once in different campaigns (just one reason why you shouldn't run multiple businesses in one account) it's not just related to "managing his clients" it's a lack of knowledge in the fundemental's. But! I'm leaving this now. You do you

@barimah7038 I see my post as helping him. and his clients.
by (580 points)
@barimah7038 nope. but you learn your craft before you start taking money from people to provide it to them as a service. You don't experiment and learn with other people's money. That's the last I'm saying on the matter. Y'all have fun figuring out what an MCC is
by (580 points)
@barimah7038 yeah Google ads is that simple man. Anyone can do it. Good luck.

@barimah7038 some of these old timers are just pissed. It's like the guys who write code to build websites that hate wordpress and clickfunnels. @oratorical running Google Ads and getting a return on your money is actually kind of simple if you understand the "fundamentals" of marketing in general.
by (260 points)
Thanks bro. Thats typically what it is. Whenever its not "easy" for ppl to grab clients anymore you tend to see the old timers get pissed that "their" space is getting crowded. Either way ppl helped out, ill get setup, and we will continue to bring on clients. Thanks for the support bro!

Did anybody ever answer the question or did @oratorical Hoops hijack the post in hopes of getting new clients? I thought this board was to help each other learn and grow. John Maxwell says great leaders take people with them. A J @barimah7038 seems to grasp that concept!

@cherenkov yes and thank you. 21 irrefutable laws of leadership was first book i read when i started my first business!

Have them set up an account then have them invite you, you will use your email and when you log into google ads then it will ask you to choose which account you want to open up in. Just make sure they are named distinctly (i run google ads and google grants for certain clients and sometimes they get confused)

Thank you for clarifying that and for your time. Much appreciated.

Make MCC and each time new ad account for a client. It is the easiest and the most comfortable way.
