CPC has increased by 600% since november 2019.

Thats bad. I guess your industry could be slightly more affected by the coronavirus. However, this shouldn't stop you. You can exclude audiences, create SKAGs and STAGs and look what performs better, make use of scripts to automatically pause and stop bad performing ads by factors like < CTR 3% and much much more.

Thank you very much for your advice! I am fine. I have created some insanely good performing landing- & salespages, so I can handle the increased CPC. But all of my ads have a CTR around 20 %. I think just got way mor competitors for my keywords

Interesting! We all know that CTR is a big factor for the quality score. If you're not hitting 9/10 at least, I would definitely check "average bid, search query/keyword intent and bounce rate"

I am even hitting 10/10 quite often. And I checked the competition right now. Their was a lot of competition, but they are gone since a few weeks. The CPC is still high. Google now knows, that I am willing to pay that much. Do you think this is true?

@reinstate This depends on your bid strategy, if you're okay with using manual CPC and already had some good results, you could consider using this, since you can't overbid on manual cpc.

I have different bid strategies and I am always splittesting them, too. But I am manly working with CPA and Conv. maximisation right now.

I’m struggling with 3rd party tech support being blacklisted for search

And it seems like there is no possibility to change the provider? When things are blacklisted, like domains, keywords or anything else, you can and should interpose a landing page for example.

My Google retargeting is expensive and gotten no conversions. Not sure what's up

I think you're talking about Display Network? You've probably didn't exclude the shitty sites. There are some lists on the internet, you should find it easily. Another thing you can try is the Smart Display Campaign with Target CPA, this way you'll only pay when you get a converison.

@flood433 I will take a look at the Smart Display Campaign option with Target CPA =). Retargeting had seemed like an easy win, so definitely trying to get it working! Shopping ads have been doing well so was strange these weren't

They banned my google account before I ever got an ad up. ugh
by (1.7k points)
The best way to get an account back, is to contact support and to apologize for violating their terms even if you didn't do anything.

@flood433 i tried. thats a no from them. lol

@yellowwood62 do you know why they banned you?
by (390 points)
@acetic2 payment verification issues. I even spoke to a rep and they verified my account was active and then shut it down hours later.
