Hi everyone, What is your experience with CSS partners for shopping? Overall I read the CPC's are worth 20% more and give you more exposure, possible traffic and an uplift in conversions if you choose to work with an CSS partner outside of Google.

The kickbacks no longer exist for CSS’s but the saving comes in how you pay the CSS provider, for example a £1 bid with Google Shopping is only worth 80p in the auction as Google’s fee is 20% so if the CSS is charging a flat fee or say 5% fee you’ll be getting clicks cheaper or more clicks for same amount of money. And just to add Google Shopping is now technically a CSS also.

It's a matter of perspective. Using a CSS in the EU is a no-brainer. It's indeed 20% cheaper (they get a kickback and you'll be credited). That means you still have to pay Google the money you usually pay, but you get a nice credit you can use to increase your bids. and therefore your exposure could improve. Makes sense?

Just remeber that you only get the 20% discount click when you go up against Google as CSS, if you go against another private CSS the discount click isn't valid
