If I copy an ad's link destination URL from a SERP and paste in another browser window, is it the same as clicking on the ad? It of course would include a gclid param but not sure if the person would get charged or not. Thanks!

Assuming it leads to a specific landing page it would probably react the same as clicking the ad. If you just direct type the main URL, then it shouldn't.

Yea so I was thinking of pasting in the Ad's destination URL but I could also paste it in and manually remove the gclid param before navigating to it.
