I would suggest working in SEE, THINK and DO phases. Just like Google is trying to teach us. I've had a lot of succes with the structure below: • SEE: Affinity audiences (check Google Analytics or Google Ads for succesfull affinity audiences in the past) • THINK: In-market or keyword audiences • DO: Custom Intent and remarketing audiences If you work like this you can actually funnel towards a decent performance. The SEE and THINK campaigns are traffic/branding oriented. But the DO campaigns are the real performance drivers in terms of conversions. I've had succes working like this in multiple accounts and niches actually.

Quite a broad question but here’s my best advice. 1. Consistently monitor trends. Keep your ad & site copy relevant to current trends. 2. Pay attention to your competition. Always make your ads more competitive and/or appealing. Are they offering 5% off? Sweet, you’re offering 7%. 3. Truly focus on the UX of the LP. If Karen has to do too much work to complete a conversion action, it’s not happening. 4. Monitor your search terms like your life depends on it and frequently add negative keywords based on irrelevant clicks to your business. Very basic entry advice ✌️

Can't agree enough with number 4. To that point, negate specific words out of those search terms rather than the entire search term. You'll see results MUCH faster that way.

@hydrometeor yes! I have clients in the financial industry and for a mortgage loan include very broad terms such as “car”, “auto”, “student”, etc.
