Hey guys, I just started my google search ads for my e-com store and it is the third day. - 50€ a day spend - CTR 4-5% - No Sales yet Does search ads take some times to get in some purchases? I barely did not get any add to carts also, but I have to say it is a high ticket product for 120€.

Check ur prices with ur competitors. if prices are higher than others then it will b tough to generate any sales.

Alright thanks, so your search ads can perform good first day on?

@macaco13 not on the first day in my case, but ur CTR is high which is very good, but no sales. That's y I am thinking about pricing. Plz keep us updated. :)

@czechoslovakia1280 I second this

@czechoslovakia1280 High CTR is meaningless if campaign not optimized properly. For example if someone is searching for “Kettle One Vodka, ” & they land on a page selling a wide variety of vodka the CR will be low. Need to match intent on ad with a variety of other factors

Looks like you spend already a lot without conversions. Are keywords exact or broad ? Do u use extensions ? How much your product cost ? What about your competitors ? You add can perform good just from the first day

Exact and broad, I used mike marketing tool to find all the options, with these ctr my targeting should be good right?

Yes I use extensions. My product cost 120-200€ so its is pretty expensive compared to the competition but we have better quality and other benefits

@macaco13 price is a very big issue I guess

If you have e-commerce store you should start with shopping campaigns. Cpc is lower and conversion rate is better

Ain't you think you are expecting good results too quickly! even ads take time to show good results, after analysing and optimising them. so at least run your ads for a week and then understand your data. Optimise them then you will get some good results. high CTR doesn't mean you are getting relevant traffic but it means you are getting high traffic. check and analyse the customers behavour in Analytics. bounce rate, session duration of this audience. then you will why your ads is not performing. also check the search queries of users are they relevant to your products?

There is so many metrics to analyse, check auction insight where you are among your competitors. many things to monitor.

Run a CPM campaign too. It will support your search ads. Create audience from it.

Implement Hotjar code in your landing page. And see what user are actually looking in your page. Find Hotspot. Where User stop for most time. Lead form should be at right place not at top the top , not at the bottom. And see from recording why users bounce aka leave without filling the form.

@macaco13 At least give 2 weeks of time. then you get the data. then try to analyse and optimize the campaign. after that depends on your optimization & campaign. how quick you can get the results.

Check on followings: SSL certificate i. e. https is implemented Product price should be in competion range Use shopping ads, they relevant too for ecommerce and cheaper than search ads Check about how your competitors are presenting same product descriptions to clients Ensure that you hv minimum steps to get users to cart How about speed of your website , loading fast or slow?

I would like to add REVIEWS, as they play a vital role to make decisions for customers to buy. :)
