Question

Can I resell a branded item on Google Shopping? My first guess is that I have to be able to point out a licence from the manufacturer to do so. But then still, I don't know. It is produced in a chinese factory and my supplier said I could get the branded version for same price. Anyone has recommendations?

Are you talking about getting unauthorized copies of branded products? In which case, would be illegal.

I don't think so, hence i need a licence from the factory i guess.

If you're not getting the product from the brand itself or under the consent of the brand, it's an illegal copy. Like if I got a bunch of Adidas shoes made by the factory itself & Adidas had no idea, that's illegal.

Does your supplier own the brand? Then fine. If they don't they most likely don't have the right to sell it to you. Which is super dodgy and illegal. Ethically I'd be contacting the brand itself and letting them know
