Insist on owning the account. Insist on paying Google directly for clicks. Insist on having full admin access to the account during and after the campaign.

Ask them to advise you on what objectives and website calls to action they would recommend for your business? Ask how they would track this? And how would they intend to generate customers at a profitable cost per acquisition?

Research is vital to ensure that the opportunity exists to be able to make the required ROI from your target market. How many searches are taking place, what level of competition exists across your required keywords, average cost per clicks, is it viable ?

If you dont have a facebook pixel already set up or dont know what that is you need alot more than just a google ads manager. You sound like you are missing a HUGE peice of the puzzle. Choosing a Photographer is alot about your social proof, so once people have checked you out you need to call them back again to reinforce that you are the best choice in a market where anyone can buy a 5D camera and call themselves a photographer.

@uninhibited If someone can bake a cake it doesn’t mean they can design it. Get someone who understands the ad network + a copywriter who knows how to use words to convince people to sell. Don’t have 1 jack of all trades doing everything.

I run ads for a photo booth company. Not exactly the same, but more or less the same. Let me know if you need assistance.

As a Facebook Ad Specialist, here are some of the preliminary questions to ask before hiring someone: 1) What niche do you feel most comfortable working in? 2) Have you worked with clients similar to this industry? If so, what results were you able to provide? 3) What daily budget would you recommend? 4) What campaign objective(s) would you recommend? - they should know the answer here. Hope this helps! If you have any questions feel to reach out.
