I know it's been discussed before but it seems as though there's not been a definite answer. If I run a therapy service and I'm at full capacity so want to get fewer enquiries, should I pause my campaigns or reduce the CPC? If I reduce cpc will it affect for when I want to rerun them again?

Unfortunately information around this is almost non-existent, the same used to go for the how the daily budget works in general (such as what happens when you change daily budgets mid month or several times a month - they have better information in the documentation about this than they used to). This is particularly the case because of the disparity of having to set a daily budget which actually uses a monthly calculation. From my personal experience I have found that reducing the daily budget significantly as opposed to pausing helps you ramp it up faster when you need to, although this is anecdotal and with so many variables at play not such an easy thing to test. My usual suggestion for your situation however is often to increase your prices. If you are at full capacity then customers obviously value your service enough for you to be booked out. Though in your industry there may be issues with this.

Increase your ability to offer more therapy service and keep making more money!

Sometimes as a service based business you may want to take the day off or a few days off. so todo that is it best to pause the ads or lower the average daily budget or reduce the cpc?

Either or could be ideal but you want to make sure you dont lower the bids too much that you fall below the top of page bid. Then your impressions would drop. Maybe just focus on your top keywords with a reduced budget and run your ads during the peak times based on the data.

Raising prices can help also. Raise your price until you get a few no’s. No need to fear losing business if you are over capacity.
