Hi guys, I have a hole in conversion tacking for one of my goals and hoping someone here can help. The goal: Measure Timely booking form confirmations for paid adwords traffic. The problem: Goals are appearing in GA, I've run a test clicking on one of the Google ads and filling in the Timely booking form and seeing it come into GA as a real-time conversion. But, this is not showing in Google Adwords. I have GA and GAdWords linked. All other conversions (e. g. contact form submissions, clicks to call etc) are showing as conversions in GAdWords. So, Google Adwords is just not getting credited for this particular conversion. The Setup: For this particular goal, I have used the destination URL /Booking/Confirmation as the trigger. Hypothesis: I think that because the Timely booking form process is in an i-Frame, it takes you through a few clicks before you get to the booking confirmation URL. I wonder if this converison is not being measure as paid-traffic because it was too many clicks between the Ad click and the success URL.? I dunno. Any ideas? How to fix? Cheers!

Try to set up a Lead conversion with Google Ads conversion tracking tag and GTM. Select first click attribution model.

If the form is an iframe, that's the cause. You would need to activate cross device tracking and include the domain of the iframe owner. I did it years back and was a massive headache

Yeah like mentioned in the comments, iframe would most likely be the case. I just wonder. Why would you import Google Analytics goals and not track directly using Google Ads Conversion tracking?  This way you are missing lots of conversions that could help ML optimizing towards your goals.
