Optimization Score is becoming super important for ad rank. Not the best metric but it’s coming. Anyone else been told this?

Acceptance of rejection of recommendations goes towards score for agencies. I dont think others hv much impact if at all. Nothing to do with ad rank at all.

Source? I think a fast loading website is important (for the user) but that should not affect paid search

@casanova I don’t think that’s the case. I’ve worked with him for quite a while. He said it’s being rolled out in this quarter

@gretel I saw a few times a bit of decrease in performance when I was told to do stuff and I didn’t and I was around 80%

I guess it’s fact. I work a lot with Google, I test betas for them as am sure a few do here. Am managing 50k a week in spend. So he’s not your frontline guy. But thought someone else might know more.

I wouldn’t think so. Some Google recommendations are off the mark. For example, I have a client who only sells gas boilers, not oil boilers in the UK. Google recommended removing the negative keyword “Oil” so it could show searches that turned up oil boiler.
