So what no one is telling you is google ads is not a great place to promote an event. Consider Facebook

@littman10 I kind of agree with you in that in a sense. I don't think people will be searching that much for an event on Google. However, if they get targeted on Facebook with an event happening near them. That's a different story. That's my opinion. I'm not expert.

@littman10 and @species Thanks for adding your insight and smart opinion. You may be very right. We are on Facebook and are getting decent results for a first-time event. The audience is very specific - local and have a specific health care need - so that's why I wanted to try Google. It's not a "general interest" event, but for people with a specific healthcare challenge.

Found a way to create unique links within Evenbrite to make future event tracking easier, you might like this little trick, hidden within Eventbrite:
