Can you give some tips on what some of the data means and how it relates to each other? I know a few like: If I have high CTR, low impressions, it means I'm getting the right audience. If Impression is high, but TPA are also high, it means that they probably are missing the 'submit form' (that has the conv tracking code) on my website and needs improvement on content. If impressions and clicks are high, and the CTR is at 2%, then ads are in a good spot - keywords are relevant and we're hitting the right audience. I could be wrong and it all depends on the goal. I want to hear from your experience.

There's one point I don't agree. If impressions and clicks are high and your ctr is 2% there's much to improve in my opinion. I won't rate it as everything spot on. I'm running campaigns with an average ctr of approx 10% and even higher.

You are right. As a newbie, and just experimenting on new campaigns of my friend's account, having clicks just put glimmers to my eyes.

@shyamal it depends on many things like what type of ads you run and if the brand is known etc. For branded campaigns its easy to get a high CTR as well as for certain type of niched businesses. Its also easier to get a high CTR for search than on shopping or display just as example.

@tussle4 That makes sense, I only do Search ads. Brand isn't that known yet. The Branded/Competitor campaign CTR gets as high as 5~10% as compared to other kind of ads.

@tussle4 I agree on different avarage ctr on search, display and shopping. My brand campaigns have much higher ctr (50-60%). my non branded search campaigns between 8 and 15%.
