Question

If someone lands on your ecom, and buy an item which is not promoted through your shopping ads. Will this still show as a conversion? So the shopping campaign will show 1 conversion in the overview but the conversion will not be found among your product tab conversions?

Yes it would still show and will be attributed to the product they clicked on

@palatalized ah okey so if they click on a hairdryer, surf around, buys a toaster, the cred goes to the hairdryer? And the conversion value would also show as the hairdryer? (even if wrong). Would it be a difference if u have conv tracking set up through google ads or imported through analytics then?

@tussle4 on google analytics you should see the actual conversation under products performance however on google ads you will see it attributed to the product that lead to that conversion, always compare both of them and compare the data with the store itself i never saw 100% accuracy tbh but its about understanding the trends and evaluate the performance to make the right decisions
