My non-profit organization got google ads grant, and I've already set all the campaign and keywords. But my Google ads campaign is still zero. I'm so frustrated. Does anyone know what can I do for it? My target audience is Chinese users, and I put 10 keywords for my campaign, and it show that the potential target audience scale is limited.

Try inserting more keywords with higher search volume (these might have a small one). Also, depending on the type of product you are promoting or the service the search intent can be limited now as half of the world (China especially) is experiencing a different normal life and have slightly different needs now. Also, China uses different channels as well like We Chat so Google might mot be the best option, again depending on what you're promoting. I would be happy to look at your account and schedule paid 1 on 1 sessions if you need some asistance :)

Thank you, actually, I am marketing to oversea Chinese users who live in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, U. S, and Canada. And I would like to know the detail about 1 on 1 session if it will help me :)

The grants are slightly different, I do not think you can effectively bid on competitive keywords.

You can't use single word keyword in Google Grants. And check to see if you have an automated bidstrategy in place. Try chsnge it to manuell CPC until you got some traffic.

Try a DSA campaign and writing new content to explain your cause

Does China not block Google?

@incest there are Chinese all over the world, not only China nationality citizens.

follow the policies as much as you can. ad grant is different from normal ad accounts. You can use maximise conversions right from the start but it seems that only brand terms will be shown in my account (if at all). It doesnt spend anywhere close to the $10k monthly budget. at most tens a month only. 1) Mustn't have single or generic keywords 2) Mustn't have keywords with a Quality Score of 1 or 2 3) Must have >= 2 Ads per Ad Group and >= 2 Ad Groups per Campaign 4) Must maintain a 5% click-through rate (CTR) each month 5) Must have at least 2 sitelink ad extensions 6) Must respond to program survey 7) Must have valid conversion tracking, if applicable 8) Must have relevant geo-targeting 9) Non-compliant geographic locations
