Hi, I got the following email from Google the other day, should I be worried about it? "Remarketing lists disabled for use with Google Ads One or more of your Google Ads remarketing lists have been disabled for violating personalised advertising policy. Below you can find the specific policy and the lists that are currently in violation of that policy. " I actually didn't even realise I had any remarketing lists, I don't do that kind of marketing, I just run google ads specifically for people searching on Google. So I'm not sure if I need to do anything? I'm just worried if I ignore it Google will cancel my ads. :/

Not that I know of Tracy, unless someone's done it for me, I had someone set up my analytics but wasn't aware of anything else being done.

Hey @executioner  What are you advertising? Could be that it's on the banned list

Yes I'm an anxiety counsellor, so I'm guessing they wouldn't want that kind of thing retargeted. But I only do search ads, I don't retarget (as far as I know! ) so I'm hoping it's not going to be a problem.

You should be OK with straight search, just not the remarketing element  I imagine it would be quite anxiety inducing if you were being followed around the internet after clicking one of your ads

Yes for sure lol. When I first saw the email I thought they meant search ads, and it didn't make sense, how are people going to find an anxiety therapist if they can't google for one, ha. But yes the remarketing element makes sense! :)

If you're not targeting an audience, then a disapproved audience has no impact

Thanks Linda. I was just a bit worried my search ads would get banned or something.
