Looking to set up ads for my dad's pool service. What rate would I expect to pay? I would love to learn in the process! He doesn't make a lot of money and not sure how sustainable it would be to continue paying someone long term.

Does he install euipment as well?

@penicillin he does, pumps, filters etc. He does service and repair work. Nothing crazy like plaster, tile, builds etc

@synonymize We are in Florida and my pool guy uses the Google Ads for heater installs and pump installs. Our average pool service runs around $80/month, and in the summer time the margin is pretty slim. It may be better to start with repair and install advertisements first, and then use some profit to generate more stops.

Look for someone who will only charge a set up fee. Is that all you need is the ads built?

@glasgow exactly. With his line of work he doesn't have much of a budget to pay consistently every month. We would just like him to show up when people in our city search for pool service. I figured if we could get some ads set up, we could run them as budget permits

@synonymize that makes sense. I can offer $200 for the set up only. Feel free to reach out for a web conference consult. Happy to discuss how I can help you.

@synonymize It depends on the avg cost per lead in your market and your goals really. Once you identify that, you can do some reverse engineering to identify your monthly ad spend. Hope that helps man

Go on Fiverr, you can find cheap guys with good experience. Just stick with the same person for a little the time to get first leads and try to check what he's doing

Before you spend any $$ make sure the business phone can be answered 100% of the time. This is very important
