Hello, does anybody here have experience with google local service ads? I am helping set up an ads account for a HVAC company. We are pending approval now, but I'm wondering: Do you run this in conjunction with Google ads? Or does this replace that need?  It seems they pop up above google ads results.

Google guaranteed is separate. They’re good to have for predictable lead cost but unpredictable volume (controlled by budget, responsiveness, etc) and then augmented by google ads.

Hi, I never used local service ads, but I do have a client that uses it. He said he didnt have a lead in a long time now, and thats why he wanted help with google ads instead. We thought the lack of leads was due to Corona but through the google ads he got leads pretty quickly. This doesnt answer your question. But I think it could be an idea to try out both and not exclude one for another. Also, with local services ads you pay per lead and with google ads per click, generally.

LSAs are to be run in addition to PPC. They always pop up above the paid PPC

LSA is the cream of the crop. You can’t choose how many you get, though. What I’ve found works best is gathering as much data as possible from your leads and acquiring reviews through the request link.
