@untrue72373 Dude, it's a totally different option. He's asking about expanding his Google Ads campaigns to Google Partners Network, it has nothing to do with the Analytics setting you mentioned.

Enable search partners and review the data after a reasonable amount has been collected. It depends on your industry and account as to whether it works well or not. In some of my accounts it's on, in some it's off.

A lot of people hate it but let's take a proper look. You will generally get a much poorer click through rate on the partner network. People think this negatively impacts their Quality Score - it doesn't. It doesn't hurt to have it on, it can give you extra clicks/conversions but you have to be sensible and keep an eye on its performance. So MOST IMPORTANTLY: Always segment your overall stats by this. Just like you might segment brand and generic performance, these two networks behave so differently that you shouldn't aggregate them into an average.

Who here can accurately describe what sites & locations comprise the partner networks. To my knowledge Youtube and Yelp . but what other sites?

This is a case by case scenario setting. It may work for some accounts and not others. As others have said, collect some data and segment by network to see how it's doing. For the most part I get good results. The thing with Google ads is everyone runs things differently so it's not fair to say something never works when you cant see how their running the account.

Works for me. Make two campaigns. One excluding search partners, the other with. Bid less on the one with SP. Warning: this will only work with Manual CPC (with or without ECPC). Other “smart” bidding strategies won’t stop Google from doing stupid/self-serving things with your money.
