Start with the detailed list of negative keywords, some universal keywords are easy to find whereas industry specific keywords are hard to find, just do your research, add negatives as much as you can, and thanks me later!

Ensure conversion tracking is in place & start slow with a low budget and low cpc - gradually increase instead of blowing up the account on the first day. Ideally, start with Manual CPC or Enhanced CPC as bidding strategies.

Appreciate the comment Ali,

@minacious I agree. Start with a budget where you can follow things and see how they evolve. I second manual cpc

Don't do it on your own, if it's an important one.

Start with small budget to test out your ads before scaling up

I’d say keep you account structure simple and small when starting out. As your conversion rate and quality score start to pick up and you know what works in your campaigns then scale from there.

Setup conversion tracking first before you get any click or impression. Think about your business from your point of view, Ads Platform will always try to fool you with number of clicks and impressions.

Is adwords still working for low price products?
by (2.4k points)
I am using it very well on two low priced products below $15 USD
by (450 points)
@serum how much u spend per conversion?
by (2.4k points)
I'm still in testing phase, getting around 3. 5 ROAS at the moment across multiple campaigns. Highest ROAS is 16. 25 as of today.
by (450 points)
I see. I have been making loss for products average at usd50.

Something isn't right there then.

Send me the keywords and territory if you can, and I'll look at the data, but there are a lot of factors at play of course. Your store conversion rate, etc.

Yes, get tracking set up. And don't automate. Two bits of advice there.

Expect to loose a LOT of money. It’s not something you just ‘pick up’.

Look this process as an investment. Spending thinking in sustainability. No more than 20 words. Keep in mind the goal, ROI. At the same time you must lead n how to design a good landing page and implement a trucking system.

Choose the right keywords, make sure your landing page is built to convert your visitors, and ensure you set up conversion tracking. Also, here's a step by step guide I made on setting up your first campaign that you might find useful:

Don’t let you account run endlessly. Drive 100 clicks, assess and make adjustments. Rinse and repeat.
