Will there be a problem if i advertise for a product with a different SKU than the one on my landing page? Im changing supplier (same product) and have alot of data on the current SKU and would prefer not to restart the learning curve of my shopping ads.

Yes the product page needs to match what you have in MC. Also if you're ads are using the SKUs for product groups etc than you would need to start again

@glottal464 what if i have 3 bundles with one of them still with the same SKU but changing the other ones?

By bundles, are you referring to campaigns. product groups? If you change your product IDs in Merchant Centre due to the product feed etc then you will lose the link to that product in Google Ads and its advertising history

@glottal464 No i meant bundles on my landing page, where one of the 3 bundles have the same sku that brings the traffic to the landing page and the remaining 2 bundles have different sku’s

Oscar, so you have multiple products on one landing page and only one of those products matches the sku that you have in merchant centre? How does your product feed work then? do you only have a small subset of products in the feed?

@glottal464 Yes thats right, they’re all on the feed in merchant center, and is the same product with different sku’s. I do this because i use multiple suppliers. Do you think its allowed to do this? I reached out to google today and they was unsure and would get back to me.

What means SKU? GTIN/EAN or just your own ID ?

Stock keeping unit. Used to help identify items in stock.
