Hi everyone!  First time posting ☺️ What did everyone’s first month look like?Hi everyone! First time posting ☺️ What did everyone’s first month look like? I am at about 3 weeks in and haven’t seen ANY difference (haven’t lost any lbs) . I’m starting to feel a bit discouraged. Is this normal? My appetite is practically gone and I am very strict on the diet. I haven’t cheated even once but I am not very strict about remembering my vitamins. Could that be a factor? I appreciate the feedback ☺️

Keep at it! I lost very slowly, but it will work. Drink all of your water and walk for 30 min. each day. Doesn’t have to be all at once. 2 x 15 min. Or 3 x 10 min. is great as well.

@diatom8064 I’m also walking twice a day! Did it take a bit for you to start losing more quickly? Or did you just lose very slowly altogether?

@snivel I lost very slowly the entire time. But that has always been my issue. It was so worth it. I am much healthier today and learned how to eat better.

I think the first month is a mental adjustment as well as a dietary one. Depending on how much we have to lose, we still see the person we were at the beginning, physically! I believe it takes about 30 - 40 pounds (for me) to actually start to see "anything" different in our body. Then the mental picture matches the real one. Stay strong - it sounds like you are on the path to success!

How much have you lost - pounds? Inches? No, in the first 3 weeks, you're not going to "see" much of a difference.

@corrincorrina I haven’t lost any pounds  I haven’t checked my measurements otherwise

@snivel How much do you have to lose? What does your daily menu look like? Often, we're making small, unintentional mistakes we don't realize.

@corrincorrina on an average day I’m drinking my iconic protein cafe drink(considering it my breakfast and coffee). Eating 1 quest bar as my lunch (usually with some kind of veggie) and having about 6oz of any meat with some vegetables for dinner.

@snivel A couple suggestions: 1. Be sure your Quest bars are protocol. This is easy to miss, particularly the fat calculation. 2. You need to be weighing meat and veggies. It sounds like you're not since you're saying "about" and "some. " This is a critical component. It is easy to go under or over on both/either. Be sure, also, that your meat choice is LEAN and is meat only - no added ingredients (read: carbs). 3. You're missing an entire packet. The protocol is 3 packets daily in addition to the meat/veg, water (minimum 64 oz. ), salt, oil and supplements. While it may seem better to eat less, it's actually counterproductive to weight loss and your body could be in starvation mode because you're not getting enough calories. 4. Be sure your expectations are aligned with reality. If you only have 15-20 pounds to lose, you're not going to see huge losses like people with 85-100 pounds to lose. 5. Start taking your measurements. This is actually a better indicator of what you're achieving than the scale.

And, be strict with your vitamins.

@dendro yes, although the vitamins really don’t have anything to do with weight loss per se, but your overall health and welfare since we’re eliminating entire food groups.

@snivel It doesn’t seem like you’re eating enough vegetables

@consign I’m eating about 3 cups total a day realistically
by (11.2k points)
@snivel that’s not enough. You’re not losing because you’re not eating all the required foods.

@snivel You need Exactly not "realistically". This diet requires every bite of food built into the protocol. Under eating causes your body to not relinquish fat in order to preserve itself.

@footrope good to know. I would never have expected eating more to be the problem. I appreciate all of your feedback ☺️
