What are some good packets for a vacation? I'm going to Miami for a week in February but would like to order stuff soon. I usually have a lean shake for breakfast, but I can't travel with liquids like that and I don't think BuiltBars would be good in the heat. I'm looking for packets that travel well and won't take up too much space in a suitcase. It would also be awesome if someone could maybe point me towards some tropical flavor packets (pineapple, mango, coconut, etc). I'm really just concerned about the packet situation. I'm planning on farmers markets for veggies and I'll have a full kitchen for dinner proteins. I've also already researched my fiance's favorite restaurants and have found some meals that are phase 1 compliant so going out shouldn't be too hard. Any suggestions?

I would pick up a curbside at the closet Walmart once you arrive there making sure you get your packets, water, and veggies. Meat protein is easy at restaurants.

@barns a great idea, many of the Walmart’s carry Quest products and you can pick up quest chips without them getting squished in your luggage. When I travel I always pack shake/drink (morning), chips (will taken in carryon and one for the flight), and bars. Then all you have to add is the veg and meat. My favorite plane meal; 2 hard boiled eggs, celery sticks, and a chip bag.

Since you are in Miami, I would go buy the lean shakes once I got there

Take powdered shake mix. Mix with ice and spinach for your breakfast. Lots of bars out there. They travel fine but I keep them in the fridge when in a hot climate. Soup packets are also a good option.

Muscle Milk light is usually available at Walgreens and CVS. Also Quest Blueberry muffin bars are R but good for breakfast if you don’t want a shake. Also readily available once you get there.

Don’t forget you can just cook some eggs for breakfast too since you have a kitchen. 1 egg and 3 whites. Personally I would do that and buy some shakes and a few bars there after you land. Miami in Feb sounds fantastic!

I'm actually traveling to Miami next week and will be bringing lots of protein bars and quest chips. I plan to bring a few Built Bars and store them in my hotel room fridge and eat those eaching morning for my breakfast before I head out for the day so that I don't have to worry about them melting in the heat. I'll carry a bag of Quest chips and another type of protein bar in my bag for the rest of the day and, of course, a bottle of water.
