For those who do the “Alternative” program for exercise and health reasons, what are some best group choices you use? When I did it first through a clinic I stuck with berries, yogurt, and whole wheat bread. I’m looking for some different things people have that isn’t so repetitive.

I lose 2-3 lbs per week. We figured out early that I can't do restricted packets.

@broadminded yeah I think that didn’t help so That’s a good idea! Did you exercise also?

@keelykeen just walking. I do alternate bc I get lightheaded if o don't eat enough

@broadminded I’m hypoglycemic and have a heart condition so this is the only plan I can do.

@keelykeen it's definitely doable. I had some crazy dizzy spells in the beginning until I figured timing of eating out.

@broadminded very true! I started this back in May of 2018 and was able to lose 50lbs by May of 2019. I was kicked out of my clinic because I wasn’t losing enough but I have a lot of health problems and medications that don’t help me at all. So I’m trying more on my own again to get rid of the 20lbs I gained back.

But I had other trouble with one of the coaches there so I’m happy to be rid of them. The only thing is that coach started working for the same company as me. So it can be stressful at work now.

The clinic allowed berries, dairy, and wheat bread? I love the Pyio workouts. A combo of yoga and pliates. Creates long lean muscles and makes you very flexible. Some choose to start with walking. Long brisk walks I can't do anymore because it aggregates my neck and back ever since a horseback injury. Any bouncing or or up and down movements slip the discs back out of place.

@fitment only when you have health issues and want to exercise. I have a heart condition and can only be on that plan with the extras.

I have feta on my salad, a banana in my shake and on occasion do the brown rice or sweet potato with dinner
