Good morning everyone.  So not complaining, still over joyed with my progress but need some advice.Good morning everyone. So not complaining, still over joyed with my progress but need some advice. I don’t worry about the number as much as I do about how I feel and I feel great but the number has stopped moving. I drink 130 oz of water everyday, (maybe too much? )don’t eat past 7 one restricted, 2 unrestricted, and 4 cups of Veges a day. I am on point ( besides probably drinking a wee too much coffee) I walk everyday however the ol  is not working and I think this may have a lot to do with it. Been days maybe even over a week I am drinking smooth move every night and nothing. Any other suggestions. Please help .

Ugh I feel you. I'm the same way. Only way I've been able to go is take a laxative which I hate to do.

Bottle of mag citrate from drug store should help move everything or a couple tablespoons milk of mag. It may take a few hours but will help for the moment. then titrate bowel movements with capful of miralax daily

@tipsy be prepared! Dont get too far away from a bathroom I'm a NP, so just letting you know, you may be a few hours somewhat detained.

You should up your unlimited veggies. Get more roughage into your digestive system. Also make sure you take your magnesium.

Take Metamucil daily . I take it for other health reasons but it will keep you regular.

@tipsy I never had much luck with the capsules . They are expensive also you have to take like 4 or so. I buy the powder make sure you get sugar free. I have taken it daily for several years now. Let’s just say I can set a watch to my schedule. The taste isn’t bad reminds me of tang. I also take it on a schedule. I get home from work before starting dinner I set up my coffee for the morning and drink my Metamucil.

I started drinking a lemon ginger herbal tea after my lunch and dinner meal. That works for me pretty well.

On occasion I have a few teaspoons of olive oil and a glass of water right before dinner. Not great but dinner after helps with the after taste. and we all have oil, right? Many options here. You will need to see what works best and keeps you on track.

Do you drink shakes? If you do, add 2 cups of spinach to a chocolate shake. Or, eat a spinach salad. Eating celery works for me, also.

This may sound unconventional, but sauerkraut works for me every time. I eat a cup at dinner with a cup of another vegetable and it gets me moving.

@emblaze8607 I think it is great that you know your own body. For me, I need to eat spinach, celery, cucumbers, romaine lettuce with cucumbers, olive oil and lemon. Drink lots of water.

I use senna at night and miralax in the morning. Also a stool softener in the morning. Crazy how this diet affects this!

Magnesium. 500 mg pills. Take 3 at bedtime. You'll have a BM in the am. Works like a charm! Then take every night - you can take less pills ongoing if that's what works for you.

You can. I had issues with constipation, so my coach had me stop taking the pm cal mags and just do magnesium.

Are you getting all your olive oil in for the day? I don’t know if there is any science behind it but in my mind that is what keeps the machine running. If I forget to use it in my meals I’ll drink a tsp of it.
