I just got the Keto Diet app yesterday and it’s a revelation! I did keto before but had no idea there were so many hidden carbs in stuff. Even things that I thought were just protein and fat. It’s easy to set up and understand and I’ve been logging no probs. Other apps I tried I just Couldn’t be bothered with as too fiddly. I paid £11 for a year membership. I’m hopeful this will be the difference for me :) x ps here is a screenshot of the screen. Ive already hit my carbs for the day so can now plan around that by eating 0g carb foods!

If this is yours, it is not set right. And milk is not keto. Use unsweetened almond or coconut milk. Yours has sugar in it.

@pelops I thought as long as I stayed within my 20g I cd have a tiny bit of milk. Why is it not set right?

Milk has sugar in it. And ingredients comes first always. The milk will stop or slow down fat burning.

Macros are set by your lean body mass, not by weight. According to this , you have 63 grams of protein left, but you are already over in carbs. Carbs is no more than 20 grams per day. Did you let the app set your macros? or did you watch the video?

@pelops I just inputted the details it asked and it set it all for me. I didn’t see a video  I’ll go back in and try and find the video. Aghhhh I thought I was doing so well. Glad I only wasted a day doing it wrong

Thank you! Super helpful. X

@pelops thank you so much. That was so interesting. I’ve tweaked my protein upwards a bit in line with that advice. The carbs and fat were already bang on. Fingers crossed  x

What ever you choose, do not let an app figure your macros. They figure by weight. Macros is det set by height and how active you are.
