Question

Well it’s time for a big kid bed for my 4 year old daughter. She just turned 4 this past Sunday. I can’t decide to get a bed from a store when this is over or from online now with sales. Like Wayfair, Overstock or Amazon. I want a twin size with maybe a trundle & storage. What do you say ladies? Any awesome bed recommendations?

Answer 1

We went to Bob's Furniture and got our daughter a bunk bed, twin top / full bottom and a trundle. It has stairs instead of ladder and a book case on the side of the stairs. It also came with both mattresses and they're super comfy!

@holladay what is the quality at Bob’s? I have never bought from there.

@trephine it's really good! I'm super picky about wood, my dad is a carpenter/engineer, and I'm happy with the quality. My mom furnished almost her whole house from there.

We bought our son his furniture from Bassett when he was 4 and figured the quality would last till it’s time for Him to move out! He’s 9 now and it’s still beautiful! It’s a Queen Size too! Mattress from Costco!

@ufo527 I love the room layout. I’m definitely getting mattresses from Costco.

@trephine thanks! That was from our house in California but it’s set up same exact way just a little smaller here! And now we have dinosaurs! Furniture was in their clearance section online. I think for the 4 pcs was like $2500 total with tax/shipping. I know it’s a lot but we were only buying 1 set for the rest of his living with us

@ufo527 that’s not bad at all for a full set.

Answer 3

Designer from Walter E Smithe here. We have lots of vendors that have twin options at all different price points! Let me know! I’m doing lots of work for clients from home!
