Question

My husband and I recently got a quote for lawn mowing service (including blowing the clippings/ leaves out of mulch beds), was wondering on average what everyone pays? We were quoted at $45 weekly, seemed kind of high. I know it can vary and depend on lot size, we on a 0. 4 acre lot. Hopefully I’m not coming off as cheap, just kind of wanted to know if that is reasonable

We used Jesus Perez landscaping last year and it was $30 week which I thought was on the low side considering we have almost a half and acre lot. They did a good job IMO

Did that include bagging? How big is your yard? Mine is averaged sized . 25 lot and $37 per week and they bag the clippings.

Includes edging and blowing stray clippings off the driveway and sidewalk and such, but minimal since bagging.

We pay $40/month in Downtown Plainfield on an "as needed" basis. $35/week if done weekly. Cutting, edging, weed eating and blowing. We have a lot of weed eating work that has to be done too.

@damle3088 do they pull the weeds in the flower beds or just whack the weeds in the grass area?

They don't pull weeds in the flower beds. we don't really have an issue with them. It's more weed eating around our corner lot fence, play set, rock edging around our trees and garden and my garden box. Takes forever.

If you want, change your service from weekly to 3x a month. We don’t mow weekly. We mow 3x a month regardless of rain.

We pay $37/week for 0. 50 lot. Everything included except for bagging. We have, however, been on a contract for a few years already and price just went up $1/week this year. We have been quoted between $50-$75 from others. None of these quotes included bagging.
