Does anyone know if any golf courses or driving ranges are open? Thanks

Not to be rude. but don’t we have a shelter in place? Is it essential? I know every one is bored and frustrated but let’s not good out create more mess

@energetics3 I understand . she would be going alone. but for any facility to be open that is non essential means- they have their staff come and keep the facility open, clean the carts, maintain high sanitizing standards , is it really necessary at this time? I know those employees have a source of income

There are people who are depressed and people who may be former addicts or people that may have recently lost a spouse or child that need something to do so they are not at home. I say let them golf if need be. The virus will kill more people with with suicides, domestic violence, stress of job loss and people who can’t see their social workers etc. then actually getting the virus themselves. Be careful about how you post. It could be your loved one that wants to know if they can go golf, it may save their life. @soledadsolely if you can find a golf course open YOU should go golf. @tailwind13 nope you pay on line to golf and walk, no carts out, bring your walker. Cups on greens are covered, no flags or water coolers on holes and bathrooms are closed. That’s how they are doing it in states that are allowing golf. Some people have memberships too, so no money exchanged or workers needed.

Kline Creek Golf Club (near Cantigny) was doing contactless a few weeks ago. You book online. No cart.

We are gonna be in quarantine forever and the economy is gonna tank of we can’t agree to flatten the curve and keep it to only essential workers, which would not and should not include sports and entertainment centers.
