No special “diets” give you a lifetime of results. Science has proven that increased activity coupled with decreased caloric intake, is the only way to get fit and stay fit. Eat clean. No processed food, no fast food, limit fats and sugar, and try to avoid alcohol. Eat lots of whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and lots of protein. Drink tons of water. Eat less, workout more, and you’ll get the results you’re searching for.

Thanks! @niemeyer8 it's more about choosing the lifestyle than a short term 'diet' :) happy to chat anytime as everyone is different so the program you choose should be tailored to you . and leave you educated so you can maintain :) I did a lot of diets before, and they worked short term but never taught me anything. so when stopped counting points (this was over 10 years ago now) I regained the weight. I have a podcast that is allll about nutrition education if you like to listen :)

Depends on your goals! And how much you have to lose! Do you want to tone and get leaner in the process too. I have tried different ones at diff stages of my life. It’s not one solution fits all

I don’t follow it religiously but many times a week I do vegetarian/pescatarian and limit dairy for a lot of my meals! I highly encourage it! I think it makes you realize just how many substitutes there are besides meat, I always feel lighter and best! We do all non dairy yogurts and milks and limit cheese! Again, I am not purely vegan or vegetarian and I do eat meat still on occasion but I prefer this way of eating! My toddler joins in too and it’s helped her to broaden her pallette whilst growing up and she’s never been picky on anything! We eat all kinds of stuff and explore the kitchen together!

The one you can stick to! Something that will work long term. If you can’t stick to it, or it’s a fad, you’ll just put the weight back on. I like using macros, a set amount of calories with carbs, protein and fat, allows me to eat what I want but adjust portions and encourages healthier options to stay within my macros. Tracking is very beneficial to see where you are going right and wrong and make adjustments

If you’d like any guidance from a professional - my mom is a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, AIS practitioner and nutritional consultant! Fully certified. She is doing virtual training and consults right now. Personally, she is vegan and focuses mainly on plant based diets but she is wonderful at assisting people no matter what their dietary choices are. If you’d like I can PM you her information!

I wouldn’t suggest a diet but a lifestyle and eating wholesome foods. Organic, grassfed, perhaps getting some tests done to see how you process certain foods, etc. Exercise, work on mental health. It’s all combined into one in my opinion.

Also really educating yourself in what is in your food. If you are on IG I have bunch of great resources.

Macro counting apps you don’t need to be a weightlifter or athlete to count macros. But it’s essentially a way to have a calorie deficit or surplus depending on your goal. Nothing is off limits or “bad” it’s the only way of eating I’ve been able to sustain long term

Check out Fast Metabolism diet! It was the only diet I’ve tried and actually enjoyed and never felt hungry. I lost 25 pounds in a month but weight loss is a lifestyle change and unfortunately I went back to my old ways.

Don’t do any of these crazy things. Find Corrine Crabtree on you FB, Instagram or listen to her podcasts and do the real work in your head to stop overeating. All the rest of these are just restricting calories.

I don't believe in "diets" anymore. I have started following an amazing nutrition guide that has changed my life and it is now my "normal" vs a diet. I am still able to eat everything I love, plus added things I never would have eaten before. I would love to share my experience with you. I've lost 111 pounds following this program ** I did implement workouts with the nutrition program**
