I'm really surprised to hear this! I've had State Farm since I was 16. When I went to college, I got into 2 accidents, neither my fault, and one driver who hit me was with Farmers, and the other was with Allstate. They were both horrible to me, and State Farm handled everything so I didn't have to deal with either company. That being said, my family has been with them for about 50 years, and my parents had about 6 cars, 3 boats and a house on there at one time. they pretty much could do anything and State Farm would bend over backwards for them! Fast forward to my house a few years ago, my neighbor and I both have SF so we filed a claim to have our siding and roof replaced after the nasty hailstorm a few years back, and they only replaced the siding. A few summers later, another nasty storm, they replaced the roof. My premiums went up and my deductible went up because I made 2 claims. Maybe they're just not as good as they used to be?
