Hi moms!  Just found out our Jewel groceries are being delivered by someone from DoorDash, which I haven’t used before.Hi moms! Just found out our Jewel groceries are being delivered by someone from DoorDash, which I haven’t used before. Does the delivery driver actually do the grocery shopping or do they just pick up and deliver? Trying to determine tip. Thanks!

With Doordash they drive to store, pickup the groceries and then drive to your house. Keep in mind they only receive $2-3 from doordash. The rest of what they make is from tips. They aren’t doing the shopping but they are still using their time/gas to deliver your groceries.

How do I order My groceries from jewel and get then delivered. Is there a website?

Jewel has shoppers internally I believe since it is a job listed on their website.

DoorDash works with jewel home delivery it has been a year already.

From what I’ve read, Jewel does the home delivery with their refrigerated trucks if you choose a 2-hour delivery window or longer. One hour delivery is with a delivery service partner. I’ve only seen Jewel home shoppers in store but can’t verify it’s strictly them doing shopping.
