Hi!  My son has a little eczema (atleast I think that’s what it is) going on behind his right knee.Hi! My son has a little eczema (atleast I think that’s what it is) going on behind his right knee. I’ve been putting Eucerin Baby on it a few times a day but he continues to itch it really bad. What other creams do you recommend that really help with the itching? Thanks!

My son has it too. Best brand I’ve found is Aveeno Ecema Therapy

I 2nd this ☝️. Both my son's get it on their hands & wrists. We will put the Aveeno Ecema Therapy on at night b4 bed and cover their hands with socks. It seems to help with keeping the area moisturized with the lotion.

Lush dream cream is absolutely amazing! I have eczema and my son did when he was 3-6months and it was one of the only things that worked for us!

Never had luck with Aveeno or aquaphor - cerave has been helpful. Avoid bubble baths. Wash with soap and rinse immediately.

My soon never had dairy allergy but eczema is often related to some allergies. My son's was always worse in Spring and Fall

My son had eczema as a baby, the pediatrician recommended Cerave cream (not lotion). The pediatrician also informed me that eczema is caused by an allergic reaction (usually to a food), most common dairy. It’s important to have a healthy gut microbiome, my pediatrician suggested a probiotic to improve his gut health. Once we eliminated dairy and started using Cerave and a probiotic, my sons eczema cleared up within 2 days. Eventually my son grew out of his dairy allergy; we don’t have any issues with eczema anymore

This is the probiotic my pediatrician recommended. I don’t know how old your son is, but they have infant and kids probiotics. We purchased directly from Klaire labs website, I think it was a little cheaper

My youngest has it in the winter months, creams/lotions/washes never helped. My pediatrician recommended mixing half/half and using it twice a day AM/PM, especially after bath. Worked amazing! Cortisone CREME & Cetaphil lotion

Cerave ointment or Vaseline, both my daughters have ezcema and food allergies. Aveeno and Cetaphil made them itch more. Their pediatric dermatologist recommends vaseline it works and less expensive. She says to buy ointment or creams that are fragrance free. Also, said Dove baby products

My daughter has awful eczema. We use dove baby eczema relief wash for the bath. Aveeno baby eczema relief lotion. All free and clear detergent and dryer sheets. All clothes washed before wearing for the first time.

If you’re not opposed to cortisone, my pediatrician recommended starting off by applying twice a day for two weeks (we eventually had to get a prescription cream) and then you can use Cerave over it to “seal” it off

Raw aloe. Found at fresh markets. Test on a small area on skin first but i can tell you by experience it works and it feels so refreshing. I have also noticed the dryer sheets don’t help with eczema.
