Question

Any grill masters on here?  I'm only a novice, but trying to decide online which grill to buy has been a royal headache.  Not sure what I'm looking for exactly -- definitely want propane, but I am totally open to propane/charcoal grills too. I don't want to exceed $500 but can be convinced. Would love your recommendations -- I feel like this isn't an Amazon review based type of purchase. Thanks!

Weber is definitely the most reliable and lasts the longest. I personally wouldn’t buy anything else. It does cost more. More of an investment vs a short term purchase but well worth it in my opinion. We have a gas grill from Weber that we’ve now had for literally 19 years and still going 100% strong (and we cover and clean it regularly too).

We have an amazing Weber gas grill with an attached burner. When we remodeled we had our plumber run the gas line from the kitchen to the patio so it’s hooked up to our home. It cost more than $500, but so worth it!

I have a Weber and LOVE it! It’s super easy to use as well. Mine is propane. I have a Weber charcoal and I find it’s too hard to use. Our backyard was so windy all the time that it took forever for me to light it. The propane was so much easier to use and less of a headache. I also felt like I could grill alll the time!

Homedepot sells a brand called Nexgrill. It's cheaper than a weber and more reliable than a charbroil. Ours is three years old and still going strong

We have one from Menards. I forget the brand (definitely not Weber) but it works fine. I can't say I see much difference in gas grills. they all seem to cook the same for me. We have a side burner bit we've never used it.

We have a small Weber grill and love it! Just make sure you secure it. Our first grill liked to blow around the patio and did not last after the wind blew it over.
