Question

Any dog groomers on here? I do human hair. thinking of buying dog clippers to take care of my three dogs right now. Would love recommendations on which type to buy or any tips. Thanks!

I bought a kit on Amazon that’s pretty great, did my two pups, not perfect but will get them by for now.

@hardden83 would you mind sharing which one? I have 2 shih tzus and a cocker spaniel who have some thick coats.

@funches used on my Shorkie/Shih Tzu & Lhasa Apso. It comes with SO much and it’s really quiet, dogs sat thru it perfectly!

what length do you do on your dog?

I generally have them go really short. everywhere except a tuft at their tails.

@palocz3 I used this kit above and did a 12 on the coat and a 9 on the sides, honestly could have even went shorter, but was nervous to as this was my first time. I am NOT a groomer, but thought I would tell you guys how awesome this kit was ‍♀️
