We are moving to West Highlands neighborhood mid May and exploring childcare options for the fall. My husband and I are teachers so will be home with the kids in the summer. We have a six year old who will be attending 1st grade at Elmwood and almost three year old I have two questions: 1) Are there any at home daycares or moms that do before and/or after school care in the neighborhood? We will be living steps from the school so I would like to avoid bussing to a center for my son if possible. (This may end up being just before or after depending on a few factors) 2) Where do you West Highlands mamas take your kids for childcare? I am more comfortable with a daycare/preschool center for my 3 year old all day, but am open to any recommendations. I have already looked through suggestions in this group at length but am specifically curious about where families in this neighborhood go and love. We have loved our daycare center in Plainfield so this is one aspect that is making me a bit anxious about the move! As always thanks for your help, and have a great day!
