Both are great, Disney World is much larger and you still won’t see everything it has to offer in a week, Disneyland is easier to navigate over a few days as the 2 parks are walking distance from each other. If you’d like help from a travel agent, I’d love to help! My services are free and I’ve been to both Disney World and Disneyland many times  MousePros- @thrippence

Disney world by far. We go every year from Chicago. This would’ve been our 10th year in a row. We either do Halloween or Christmas. And stay only at the Polynesian. Worth every penny so many perks. Unfortunately we are probably going to have to cancel our trip in November and we were staying in one of the awesome suites. Very upset.

We have done World a handful of times and finally did Land last summer. My kids are 11&15 but still LOVE anything Disney. We loved the weather in Late June. Warm in the day cool at night. you only need about 3 days to do it all in the parks but I would suggest a pool day in the middle to hand out at the resort or downtown Disney. We took one day to also go to San Diego zoo and part of a day to do LA/Beverly Hills. You really can’t compare the 2-it was a completely different type of vacation.

WORLD. DL is disappointing on so many levels. so small, not a lot to do, not a lot in the immediate area to do. in Florida best time to go is end of Feb/Beginning of March.

How old are your kids? When my daughter was 2. 5 we took her to Disneyland instead of disneyworld and it was the best decision ever! Smaller parks, can walk between both parks, no waits for characters (we walked right up to Anna and Elsa), never waited more than 20 minutes for anything, was able to make dining reservations close to our travel date. For her age it was perfect! We went one of the last weekends in February.

@whittling32055 - for those ages Disneyworld is probably better.

I love both parks - and have been to them multiple times. More nostalgic magical - Disneyland More adventure, and more things to do - Walt Disney world. It also depends on how long you want to go. Only have a couple of days? Disneyland. Want to spend a week? WDW. There’s perks to both parks! I’m also a travel agent that specializes in all things Disney, please reach out and my services are free!

Hi Carissa! Totally depends on your family, and how you are looking for your vacation to look! To me, Disneyland has a bit of a more relaxed feel, much of the planning is on-the-go, unlike the very pre-planned feel of Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World will always be my favorite, but I love the history to Disneyland, and the ease of transportation to get to the parks—you can walk from one to the other. I would love the opportunity to tell you more when you are ready to get started planning! Www. facebook. com/amyhuffmanmymickeyvacation

I grew up going to Disneyland and like that it’s smaller, with zero humidity.

We went to Disneyland for the first time back in October and my family and I agreed we love Disney World more. While there are a lot of similarities, we felt like we got more for our money in Florida. Regardless we had a great time in California so it depends on what you’re looking to do while on vacation.

I think it depends on the age of the children. As a teenager and adult I love Disneyworld but for my little ones since they are both under 5, Disneyland is better because it’s smaller and there are more rides and activities they can enjoy in my opinion.

Agree. Lived Disneyland when they were small, not as overwhelming and has retro classic Disney feel I personally love. Now with a teen we’ll do world/universal combo!
