Hubby told me to pump enough milk for the baby to be set for the day. He said I can sit up in bed and binge watch tv while he takes care of the kids and that I can order whatever I want from Ubereats

@fireback6 this is my dream come true. Add in a clean house and I'd never ask for anything again

I asked that my husband watch the kids and let me take a bath. I have a two year old that is constantly attached to me and I could really use a break and a little relaxation. I asked that my 8 year old clean the bathtub before I use it that day. ‍♀️

@boilermaker4387 great idea!

I asked my husband to clean the tub for me too for a gift and he said no, because he can't clean it to my standards

Wine  , spa day ‍♀️ , chocolate covered strawberries  and 6ft away from the kitchen! And I better not get asked anything other than “Babe/Mom what can I do for you today? How can I be of service to you today? ” That’s all pretty simple stuff!

Shrimp boil and I think we are "camping" in the back yard. Not really my ideal gift but fun to mix it up and smash some s'mores!

I told my family honestly it’s not a big deal, Hallmark holiday, everyday is Mother’s Day to me. I don’t expect anything or putting that pressure on them. I’m not a Karen lol

Making breakfast and probably lunch for the kids because my husband is working a night shift and won't get off until 5am Sunday morning. Then probably driving around to my sister's and moms home to drop off gifts. ‍♀️

I dropped off gifts today so I wouldn’t have to do it on Sunday

Is everyone who’s having a picnic doing it inside or am I looking at the wrong weather?
by (1.6k points)
@so5 by picnic you mean locking my door and eating in my bed watching my shows in peace and quiet then yes picnic lol. Husband is on  kid duty on Sunday lol.
by (1.1k points)
@so5 the weather isn’t looking good. We bought a heater for the garage as a backup plan for our picnic. Hate being stuck in the house ‍♀️‍♀️

This year my husband and kids have really put some thought into it. Starting the day with Breakfast in Bed ~they ordered a donut decorating kit from a bakery. After breakfast we are doing facials. My 15yr old bought beauty rollers, mask, oils and etc for all of us to do. Then board games and painting a craft. Followed by a picnic  outside (weather permitting).

We started the weekend by a dance on our patio and smores at the end. Lazy Sunday for me. Dad will take the kids for a couple of hours so I could sleep in.
