Hello ladies, my grandmother (almost 92) has been getting up at night and walking around without memory of it, we are afraid one day she may go outside. There are locks on the door but she obviously can unlock them. I was thinking a child lock/ alarm for the front door? Ive heard of them, siren goes off when the door is opened. Does anyone have any experience with them? Thanks for the suggestions/input.

This is just an idea but there is a device that she could wear on her ankle so if she ever left the house she could be tracked and monitored do you live in Naperville

Ace sells a window & door alarm for $10 that attaches to the door and trim. Works great.

We have pretty basic one for the kiddos and just magnetic and when they separate it just ring really loud i think we got it at Walmart or target but any home improvement store should have them. I know amazon sells more complex ones that send signal to your phone so that might be better.
