Call Walgreens. Ask them when they are getting an order. They saved 2 for me several weeks ago.

It’s so random when they pop up. I managed to get some through amazon fresh yesterday. Today I was able to order on Walmart. com. I’ve been searching and trying for a month! They sell out in seconds it seems.
by (710 points)
@mantilla399 Yeah. I tried looking online today and couldn't find any.

If you can’t find wipes, you can use paper towels sprayed with cleaning spray. That’s what we’ve been doing so we can save the wipes we do have for any emergency errands I have to run. Good luck!

Oswald's Pharmacy still has some Micro Kill Bleach Wipes. If you call us at 630-812-7166 we can ring up a transaction over the phone for curbside pickup or Naperville delivery. Thanks Carissa!

You can also search for Alcohol Wipes on amazon and they have baby wipes sized alcohol wipes. Those might even be better. I’ve never used any before, but I was just looking around at them right now.

I always use baby wipes for makeup, the dog, and cleanup. Target has great ones in the baby section.

by (710 points)
@necrophilism44 They are probably all gone already. I'm glad that you were able to get some!
by (1k points)
They are in the middle isle by brooms. Most people just look on the wall by the hand soap.
by (410 points)
@necrophilism44 we must have been there at the same time! I saw them as well, didn’t need any, so I didn’t take any.

@saucedo I probably looked right at you but these masks make it tricky to recognize people!

Did you try menards? They restock every few days. The GFS by the mall is often overlooked.
by (710 points)
@churchless6564 I've tried Menard's, but they were out. I would never think to look at GFS. Thanks!

What is GFS?

You can make your own. Cut a roll of paper towels in half with a knife. If you have an empty container of Clorox wipes, put the half roll of paper towels in the empty Clorox wipe container and fill with the disinfectant of your choice just until the paper towels are damp. You can use colloidal silver, grain alcohol or even diluted bleach as your disinfectant. Just a DIY to help out.
by (710 points)
@ambulator Thanks!
by (410 points)
@concentric just keep in mind bleach loses its potency every couple of days. Need fresh bleach water.

I’m told Wet ‘n Forget (sold at hardware stores) makes a great disinfectant liquid. It doesn’t have the brand cachet of Clorox & Lysol, so it might not be sold out.
by (640 points)
@deimos86 Pedersen Would definitely not use wet and forget, even diluted. We use it to clean our decks every year. It is really strong stuff that you don't want to inhale which is why it should only be used in well ventilated areas. There is no way I would ever consider using it in doors. Just an FYI.
by (10.7k points)
I know decks would use the anti-mold stuff — but I think the Wet ‘n Forget brand ALSO carries a disinfectant. I saw a post by Lou Manfredini & it showed the word “disinfectant” on the bottle.
by (10.7k points)
by (640 points)
@deimos86 Pedersen can't open.
by (10.7k points)
@ambulator That’s so odd that the link doesn’t work — it goes to a public post. (And it seems highly unlikely that Lou Manfredini would have blocked you! )

Target really early mornings and menards! Blue goose as well has had them. I heard costco early mornings too. I've found disinfectant cleaners at the dollar store and cvs. It works when I dont have wipes or vinegar/baking soda and then diluted bleach.

Not everyday. I was there Thursday morning early and there were none. You can use a mixture of alcohol and water to disinfect.
