Hi!  Has anyone had a drive by Birthday party for their child?Hi! Has anyone had a drive by Birthday party for their child? If so, have you given the people something for taking to time to drive by? Also did you tell all the kids parents in their school class or close friends? Thanks, Jenny

I set up a private FB event invite for my daughter's 9th bday. Everyone met at the closest school a min away and we had a family member lead the parade. It took about 4 min total and everyone just honked 1 or 2x when they were physically in front of the house. We didn't give anyone anything but I made sure I took a picture of her later with all the things everyone gave her out their windows. cards, gifts but mainly posters and then I posted on the event and my daughter did a thank you video as well.

My son’s parade was organized by his best friend. Her mom reached out to his friends and me. Then I reached out to family. We have been to several others and were notified via text about times, theme if any, etc.

I organized a surprise drive by for my son’s 14th birthday. I went about it by setting up a private FB event invite and invited friends, classmates, teachers, neighbors. I didn’t ask anyone to meet anywhere and just asked folks to drive by at a certain time with cars decorated (optional. ) We didn’t give anyone anything but I did make a video of clips for everyone to enjoy afterward.

I did the same as @injury68259. Sent an evite to friends and family and gave them a window of time when we’d be in front of the house. Everyone came by when they could. I did not hand anything out to those who participated but am so grateful for all who took a moment to come by

We just did a car parade for my daughter’s 6th birthday yesterday. I sent out an evite to her KG class and added some friends from the neighborhood. We did specify a time and asked them to drive by twice. I also sent out a poll asking if they would like donuts for their kids from Dunkin Donuts drive through. Then we prepaid for those donuts and told everyone who wanted donuts to mention my daughter’s bday and they could get their donut.
