Hey moms!  I’m looking for 2 recommendations.Hey moms! I’m looking for 2 recommendations. 1) My baby girl just turned 3 and is very active and quite petite. She’s done great potty training with pull ups but she is ready to transition into underwear or training panties. The problem is a size 2T falls down when she’s running around or jumping. Anyone have recommendations for brands that run small? She has like an 18month size waist. 2) so I was originally going to start my 3 year old in Montessori now. However, we may continue to keep her home for another year until we feel comfortable with the Covid situation. She is very independent and very bright and is really interested in school type work. I’m all set with writing and math activities. She LOVES to read and we read all the time. She can identify all her letters and has pretty much memorized all her books. Can anyone recommend a good program or activities to help teach reading skills? The more play based and something she can do independently the better. She is a very visual learner. Thanks!

We bought these and they ran very small. Size 3t didn’t fit our 2 year old as soon as we washed it once. Super cute though!

I bought the 4 Weeks to Read program for my son who’s 3. 5 and he’s been doing great. He already was able to identify his letters and sounds, but this program also teaches how to blend the letters to sound out words and read. He is only about 15% through the program, on the 5th book and he’s reading 5 to 6 word sentences. The songs are catchy and it’s about 15-20 min a day of practicing so the kids stay more attentive. They also have a 30 day money back guarantee. Here’s a referral code if you’re interested. Here’s a video of my son just a couple lessons in

I am a Montessori administrator and I know your concern about Covid. Certainly don’t rule it out when everything is up and running though. A good Montessori program, started early, reeps SO MANY benefits! Even if it is 5 days a week part time. As for potty training, look into cloth diapers sites (even Etsy). A lot of the cloth diaper manufacturers also make training pants and they tend to run small. PM me if you need suggestions.
