We are considering a move to AZ or CO. What are some towns near Scottsdale with nice schools, but less expensive? And some nice areas in CO to raise a high school age child?

The charter/private schools in the Phoenix area are good. Buckeye, although not terribly close to Scottsdale but in the Phoenix area is nice too.

AZ is much more affordable than CO. Although I’m sure pay would be in line based on area? I researched both a few years ago . PS don’t move. LOL

@sullivan96 if you pick CO, maybe I’ll join you someday. I decided AZ is way too hot for my Eskimo blood.

@sullivan96 you’ll make friends anywhere.

Airport in 30-ish minutes. Other friends chose Parker, CO for the “lower” cost of owning a new home and the school district.

I would hate to see you move! I speak to customers in both areas every day. Certain areas in CO are actually more expensive than AZ. There are two distinct weather areas to also keep in mind. Would suggest, Nina, that you join the Facebook group page for both areas and get a feel for the local climate of amenities and realistic views. Hugs!

Oh wow! We’ll miss you if you go! I know people that love Arizona, but no kids. and in Colorado, I know some that have kids and love Colorado Springs. Lots of unpredictable snow though there compared to AZ

I'm moving to Arizona after the school year. I've been doing crazy research as has my husband who already lives there. It seems to be a lot of good and bad parts of cities but Gilbert, Chandler, Peoria, Glendale all seem to be really great
