Hi everyone.  Looking for any recommendations or insights on postpartum pelvic area pain.Hi everyone. Looking for any recommendations or insights on postpartum pelvic area pain. I gave birth to our second child 5 months ago and the pain is still pretty bad. Especially after lying down and then getting up. The sharp pain lasts for few mins then goes away. Can’t pinpoint exactly where but its somewhere in the hip joint and pubic bone area? on both sides. Anyone else experience this? What helped? Thank you.

I had something similar after my second. I went to a chiropractor specializing in prenatal and postnatal care. I also saw a PT specific to pelvic floor. Helped tremendously! I did the same during and post my 3rd and it helped keep it minimal.

Go see Dr Karla at DPT in Burr Ridge. Sounds like sacroiliac issues. I had issues for 3 years PP, saw 5 other doctors, Dr Karla is the only one that helped!

I had lower pelvic pain after my second, turns out after a lifelong battle with Endometriosis, my nerves had scar tissue on them! Physical therapy helped, but def some time talk to your doc about! The second one is harder to recover from then the first! Give yourself time!
