For all you moms that pulled the cable boxes from your home, are you paying the same (minus hardware costs) for just your internet?

We never paid for hardware because we have had one Tivo after another since 2005, but we pulled the plug on cable about 8 months ago and it has been good. Though we will be adding Peacock, CBS All Access and HBO in June, I think we are still coming out cheeped, and that is with Internet access from WOW and Hulu Live (because we couldn’t let go of live television).

We have internet through Comcast. It’s $75 a month. This is the price with owning all of our own equipment, no renting from them. And we also get a discount for being on autopay for our bill. We pay $55 for Hulu Live. So that’s $130 a month total for internet and live tv. Our tv/internet package with Comcast was running us $185 a month. So we are much happier doing it this way.

It’s cheaper for us to have tv, internet, and cell phone through Xfinity. We pay about $200/month for all three.

Our internet is stupidly expensive. I haven't actually sat down and compared our cost with cable to now but honestly, we would keep Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ even if we got cable back so it would be more expensive. For us it's worth it this way.
