Hi, My son at home does a great job of behaving it’s when we go out with family his aunts and uncles where he loses his mind. I always have a pep talk with him before we have to go anywhere. Yesterday we were at the Shedd and he just started acting up when he saw his aunts and uncles. His aunts and uncles are young all under 30 so they play with him a lot. But I feel like since he is playing having fun he thinks it’s ok to act out. Then when we come home he is an angel again. How can I explain to him to follow home rules outside? Thank you.

Maybe have his aunt and uncle also explain the rules. If he sees them as having a little authority, he may behave so he can “impress them” with his good behavior rather than “silly” behaviors that may be accepted by them.

My youngest had an issue when he was younger with the off button. Once someone would get him going, he didn’t know when to stop. I would ask people to not get him going. lol.

Sounds like he's getting overstimulated.
