For those of you who cut cable- what did you do for internet? We have Directv and ATT internet. Plan to cut directv and ATT internet will cost $50 a month. Just curious if people found better deals elsewhere. Thanks

so can I ask what you are using instead of cable since you’re internet is likely the same as mine? We have Netflix and are going to get hulu live. Wondering if the internet we have can support that?

oh absolutely. I have a roku, a smart tv and and xbox 1 running off our internet on top of our phones pulling the wifi. My son plays/uploads/downloads video games almost daily. We watch Netflix, vudu, hulu live, youtube, prime ect. The only time I ever went over on my internet is when I added another roku and my son was on christmas break, so he was on there all day everyday. The roku's pull internet the entire time there are plugged in unlike other things that only pull when you need it. I've never dealt with things being slow or "lagging" Oh, and we have 3 laptops that run on it. 1 almost daily. I also recieve am email when I've used 75%, 90% and 100% of my data plan.

thanks so much! That was very helpful! We use almost no internet aside from watching Netflix, WiFi for our phones, and occasional video games so this should be plenty for us!

We switched from Comcast to WOW when we cut the cord a few months ago. We pay $55 a month, which was better than the $100 a month that Comcast wanted. So, I would say that is a good price.

We have WOW for internet and pay $35/month. We also use YouTube tv, Netflix (occasionally) and Vudu. No more Dish or cable for us!
