Question

Any suggestions on how to find babysitting? not looking for a regular person but more of people I can reach out to in an emergency or schedule something same week for a few hours. life just changed dramatically and I have a 3 yo and 1 yo full time, now not working.

I'm from Seattle. Any groups with mom's in the name, dads wouldn't get approved. I'm struggling right now and just looking for help, not criticism, if this is the wrong venue let the admin delete the post. I'm relocated with no friends or family and going through a divorce with no help. I'm simply looking for help within the community.

I'd be careful with this sight. I had a before school babysitter and she ended up stealing a couple hundred dollars and most of my jewelry.

I'm not looking for anything consistent. Maybe a few hours here or there. even someone that can hang out while they are asleep. Age doesn't matter if they have references and are accountable.

Hey @rutherfurd600 I understand your struggle completely. I help out some fellow single parents in my area here in bolingbrook by babysitting occasionally for them on an as needed basis. If anyone is looking for a baby sitter let me know I'm from Texas but going to be staying In Naperville for 4 months starting oct 18. I've worked in special Ed here on Texas till I had my son then been a nanny. I will however have to bring my two year old son with me. I've been on care. com for many years with Texas.
