We are a family of 5, soon to be 6. I've been wanting to start family bike rides for some time. I obviously can't right now but I was thinking next year would be a good time to start. My older children, ages 7 and 4, ride 2 wheel bikes. My 2yo is too little still and the baby would be too, of course. I am wanting to get one of those trailers for the younger 2, to pull behind my bike (obviously waiting till baby is big enough to sit unassisted) but I need help figuring out if that would be worth it. Unless we want to just ride around in the streets of our suburb (not my idea of fun), we would have to drive to a nearby trail. So. would that be doable? That would be a bike rack for 2 adult bikes, and for now, 2 children's bikes. but eventually 3 and then 4 children's bikes. Are there 6 person bike racks for the back of your car? How would I transport the trailer part? Do you detach it and fold it down to stow in the car? Is that easy to do?

Wheels pop off and it folds up. Put in back of small car for years. Be sure to get one with space behind the kids for supplies.

Is it difficult to attach and detach from the bike? I was under the impression that you are supposed to screw it on but I don't know how accurate that is.

@jacobina mine was Trek brand and both the thing to attach to bike and the tires are the similar to this. Just pop it open and loosen.
